Breaking Down A RelGen Powered Liftgate Data Report

Laynie breaks down a data report from one of our customers using RelGen powered liftgates.  This customer is a large beverage distribution fleet. The report features data from June 2020 which is one their busiest months.  The RelGen was able to keep their liftgates charged at 80% and above every day which allowed them to deliver all of their products on time, without disruption or burning extra diesel from idling.

Some key takeaways from the report include:

  • RelGen replenished batteries fully in 6-12 minutes between stops
  • Began charging at 12-15 mph
  • The liftgate batteries never dropped below 80% (This data point applies to summer and winter months!)
  • Average number of lifts per day: 80 lifts
  • Average distance between stops: 1.5 mi
  • Eliminated the driver’s need to idle for as much as 5 hours per day saving approximately 1 gallon of diesel per hour.
    Thanks for watching!
